Permanent eye makeup is a procedure in which pigment is implanted into the upper layers of the eyelid skin, creating the effect of eyeliner or eyeshadow. Using a fine needle, the artist can perform lash line enhancement, draw eyeliner of various shapes, or create a soft shading. This makeup highlights the beauty of the eyes, makes the gaze more expressive, and eliminates the need for daily cosmetics.
The procedure lasts 1.5–2 hours and is performed with anesthesia to minimize discomfort. Initially, the color may appear brighter, but after 3–4 weeks, once fully healed, it becomes natural. The effect lasts from 1.5 to 3 years, gradually fading. To maintain the result, a touch-up is recommended 1–2 months after the first procedure.
